B) Teacher of the Year Award

1. Prizes

Four National level winners will be awarded Prizes and Certificates.

II. Eligibility Criterion

The Participating teachers should have successfully created technology aided lesson plans and implemented the same in his/her teaching practices.

He/she should have been giving technology-based assignments (Projects) to students, which enhanced their learning by invoking inquiry based and collaborative learning skills.

The teacher should have incorporated ICT tools in their Teaching – Learning Process to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills and Problem Solving Ability in the students.

The teacher should have used ICT to teach abstract ideas and concepts and introduced innovative teaching strategies in his/her teaching practices.

The teacher should have demonstrated a clear understanding of using computer technology in curriculum-based learning and its impact on students learning.

III. Detailed Entry -The soft copy of the Project implemented by the teacher should be submitted.

The Project should consist of a detailed Lesson/Unit Plan, teacher presentation and student’s samples.

Please provide the documented evidence (file size not exceeding 3MB) explaining the implementation of the Unit(s)/ lesson(s), Plan to be uploaded in the link provided in the template given below.

Stage 5	Last week of Jan 2009	Award ceremony (the winners to demonstrate their projects)
