Sub: Scheme of CCE for Class VI to VIII for the Academic year 2010-11 – reg.

Sir/ Madam,

            Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti formulated the scheme of CCE for CIass VI to VIII in line with the scheme of CBSE in the perspective academic planning 2010-11.  However, the CBSE has announced very recently a separate scheme of CCE for class VI to VIII.   After going to the details, it has been felt that the weightage of Summative Assessment and medications in Co-Scholastic assessment vis-à-vis the adopted scheme of CCE suggested in Perspective Academic Planning of the Samiti for this academic year.  For this year, the Vidyalayas have been permitted to continue the same scheme of CCE as proposed in the Perspective Academic Planning of this academic year.   If there is any change, it will be incorporated after duly debate and discussion, during the year 2011-12.
