Sub: CBSE Circulars No.43/2010 and No. 44/2010 both dated 2nd August, 2010

 

Sir/ Madam,

 

            I am to draw your attention that CBSE has issued  two circulars vide circulars No.43/2010 and No.44/2010 on 2nd August, 2010 by its Chairman, Shri Vineet Joshi and Shri M.C. Sharma, Controller of Examination. These two circulars are very important nature. It gives details of conduct of classes IX and X Examination under Summative Assessment-I to be held in September, 2010.  The details given regarding CCE  and its application in IX and X, it has been clearly mentioned in the circular of Summative Assessment-II  that all  the students continuing CBSE Board after Class  X, will be required to undergo various assessments at school level.  It means that all students of JNVs will be taking internal examination and they continue XI and XII in our Vidyalaya.  These two circulars are self-explanatory and it needs to be read by the Principal and Teachers and discussed in the staff meeting.

 

            The Assistant Commissioner Cluster Incharge should make efforts to circulate these circulars and ensure that discussion was held at Vidyalaya level.  The CCE is to be enforced from VIIth to class X, which has been given in Academic Perspective Plan 2010-11.  

 

            The CBSE has also published Teachers Manual comprising 179 pages, which may be downloaded from the CBSE website (www.cbse.nic.in) immediately in every Vidyalaya and copy may be kept for record. The Vidyalaya can make an order of minimum 4 copies of the Teachers Manual for immediate reference.  Vidyalaya can download all the three circulars mentioned above  from the CBSE website.
