Sub:  Health care of students in JNVs.

Sir,

Instructions regarding enhancement of rate of honorarium to be paid to Medical Officers who are visiting Vidyalayas for providing medical assistance to the students from Rs. 1000/- per month to Rs. 5000/- per month w.e.f. 1^st April, 2011 have been issued vide order of even number dated 24-2-2011.

In addition, Principals of all JNVs are hereby authorized to invite an Eye specialist and a Dental Surgeon from nearby Government Hospital for Eye sight correction and Dental Hygiene of students. These specialists may be invited to the school in such a manner that Dental and Eye check up of students is done preferably twice a year. These specialists may be paid fee of Rs. 1500/- per visit expenditure on which may be met out of available funds under Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi.
