Subject: Instructions for the Internal Audit Parties of Regional Offices.
Ref: Discussion with Principals’ of Patna Region at Mirik, Darjeeling
Sir/Madam,
It has been brought to my notice that the audit parties which visit JNVs for audit work do not interact with the Principals after the completion of their audit work. Kindly ensure that whenever any audit party visits a Vidyalaya for carrying out the audit work, a final discussion is to be held with the Principal after the audit work is over. The date of discussion should be mentioned in the introductory part of the internal audit report. The paras of suggestive nature should be mentioned in the part IV of the report. After examing it at RO level, the report should be issued to the concerned Principals. It has been noted that the observations of the routine nature or having no worth, have been made into paras of the audit report.
Moreover, while issuing the office order for constituting the audit party, its team leader should be mentioned specifically, so that he may be held responsible for such lapses.
