Kindly refer to the letter of even number dated 21^st May 2010 from Commissioner, NVS regarding strengthening of `Rajiv Gandhi Samriti Van’ in each Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. We are confident that you have initiated appropriate action for plantation of trees etc. in your Vidyalaya as per directions conveyed in this letter.

Commissioner, NVS has further desired that in place of installing a bust, you may organize a mass plantation programme and other suitable programmes in the memory of founder of the Scheme on his forthcoming birth anniversary.

A detailed report in this regard may be sent to NVS (Hqrs.) by 31^st August 2010.
