REVISION OF RATES IN RESPECT OF EXPENDITURE ON STUDENTS
Consequent upon the references received from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Regional Offices/Principals of various JNVs, and also in accordance with the approval of the Finance Committee of NVS, it has been decided to revise the rates of expenditure to be incurred on students of Navodaya Vidyalayas. The existing provision of Rs.6500/- has been enhanced to Rs.7350/- for summer bound areas and Rs.7650/- for winter bound areas per students per annum. The revised rates may be treated as applicable w.e.f. 01/04/2005. Further details with regard to the increase of provision shall be as under :-

The revised rates effective from 01/04/2005.
